Latest Floor Painting

After some changes in my home I decided it was time to do another floor. I wanted it to represent how my home is 'my nest'. More details will follow about the process but here is the finished product. In the second picture you can still see the blue painter's tape.

Bee Hive for C & S Wholesale Organic Garden Beds

As soon as ArtWalk was finished I launched into painting a beehive for organic garden beds that are being put in for employees of C & S Wholesale Grocers of Keene, NH. Many hours were spent in the evenings, planning, sketching, and painting a new 'love shack' for the bees. I hear the queen moved in today, July 12th.

Art Walk 2011

Here is part of the window display I did of my work at ArtWalk 2011 in Keene, NH. The Knitting Knook at 36 Central Square was the business that hosted my work. Carol Mueller, the owner (and dear friend) hosted a cocktail hour to celebrate the evening.

Rebecca Junnila played harp... if you ever need a harpest, I highly recommend her.

Here is the display in the evening. I wish I took more pictures of the guests. I met many new people and saw old friends as well. All and all it reminded me why I need to paint more.
